PAHA Student President Participated Internship in United Nation Vienna, Austria

PAHA Student Co-President, Jerry Chen has participated an Internship with United Nation Women's Guild (UNWG) in the United Nations Vienna, Austria between July 14-18, 2025.
The United Nations Women's Guild was founded in 1948 in New York to help children in need all over the world. UNWG has 5 offices in NYC, Vienna, Geneva, Rome and Jamaica. UNWG channels funds to charities providing shelter, education and health care to impoverished, orphaned and disabled children. Members come together in fellowship and a shared commitment to improving the lives of the most vulnerable children regardless of race, religion, or country.
As the partner of UNWG for last three years, PAHA has collaborated with UNWG on many arts and humanity events in Vienna, Austria including Peace Concerts, Art shows and many volunteering work. In 2025, it is our great honor that PAHA's Student President Jerry Z. Chen has been invited by UNWG to intern in UNWG's Vienna's office and experience UNWG's endless effort and process to help children/women all over the world.
Jerry 's daily work includes:
Volunteering work to help UNWG's various initiatives including Peace concert, Art Exhibition and Book Auctions.
Engage in preparing new initiatives on environmental preservation and world peace
Work with UNWG Art Committee Chairwomen Rui Qing Zhou and Staff Member Yang Wang on daily office assignments.
Assist UN staff members for office assignments.
Write online articles and reports for UN 17 sustainable goals
Jerry's internship with UNWG has brought back valuable experience and first-hand exposure of United Nations' effort on world peace and environmental preservations.
